Half day
What this adventure feels like.
Waterfall abseiling in Kitulgala: rappel down a flowing rock face with full safety gear and an expert guide. A standalone adrenaline activity at its own waterfall site. Before confirming, the team checks your date, group size, confidence level, pickup plan, and local conditions so the day is matched to your route rather than treated as a fixed package.

What to know before enquiring
Abseil down a flowing waterfall at a dedicated site — separate from the canyoning route — on fixed ropes with close guide instruction.
No experience needed: the guide team fits your harness, talks you over the edge, and controls the pace.
Runs as its own half-day, or stacks with rafting and canyoning for a bigger Kitulgala adventure day.
Activity FAQs
Do I need abseiling experience?
No. Guides rig the ropes and talk first-timers through every step from the top of the fall.
Is this the same as canyoning?
No. Abseiling is a standalone activity at its own waterfall, while canyoning works down a separate canyon. They can be combined, but they are different activities in different places.
How safe is it?
You are clipped to fixed ropes with a proper harness and helmet throughout, under direct guide supervision.
